Rules and Requirements
The notarial service is regulated through Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury and are governed by Notaries Practice Rules and Code of Condcut.
Professional Indemnity Policy
Our service is maintained under a professional indemnity liability cover with a level of up to £1 million, ensuring protection for all notarial acts that is conducted. We also have Fidelity Insurance in place to protect the public.
Data Protection
We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office. Personal data received from clients is held securely and not capable of being accessed externally. Data collected as part of notarial records is used solely for the purposes of meeting our professional legal responsibilities as Notaries Public.
Record Keeping
We keep your notarised documents in the digital form for a minimum of 12 years as required by Rule 24(4) of Notaries Practice Rules 2019.
