SERVICE OVERVIEW
Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, the Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP) regime is becoming mandatory for certain people, such as accountants, solicitors, and company formation agents who file documents or verify identity on behalf of clients at Companies House. ACSPs are supervised for anti-money laundering purposes and have an existing duty to conduct due diligence checks on clients, as well as their identify are verified.
ACSPs will carry out identity verification checks on directors, PSCs and those who deliver documents to the Registrar on behalf of companies. These processes deliver the same identity assurance as the direct route, in compliance with the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act.

- Client Identification and Verification (IDV): We collect approved ID documents and verifies the identity of company directors, LLP members, or PSCs by following the Companies House Standards, which can be done remotely via secure apps.
- Submitting Verification to Companies House: Once satisfied, we use our secure, specialised digital account to notify Companies House that the individual’s identity is verified.
- Document Filing & Compliance: We are responsible for submitting company documents and ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Issuance of Personal Codes: Following verification, Companies House will send an 11-character personal code to the individual, which they will use to confirm their identity for future roles.
- Once the above process completes, on Companies House electronic database, the company directors or personal with significant control will be marked as Verification requirements complete.
